Measure for Special Election May 6, 2025 - Texas Hill Zone of Benefit
MEASURE A
“Shall the measure to levy an annual special tax in an amount of $619.52 with annual adjustments tied to the Engineering New Record Construction Cost Index on each parcel of land within the Texas Hill Zone of Benefit commencing fiscal year 2025/2026 and continuing for an unlimited duration, to be used only for road improvements and maintenance and street lighting services and generating an annual revenue of approximately $67,527.68, be adopted?”
Logic and Accuracy Testing
Logic and Accuracy Testing Will be on March 14, 2025, for the May 6, 2025, Special Election. The testing location is the Elections Office at 3883 Ponderosa Road, Shingle Springs, CA.

One Percent Manual Tally
In accordance with Elections Code § 15360, the Elections Department will randomly select one percent of vote by mail ballot batches and conduct a manual tally of those ballots. Original notice posted in the Mountain Democrat.
The random selection of precincts and batches will occur:

Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Elections Department 3883 Ponderosa Rd. Shingle Springs
The tally of the ballots will commence following the random selection. The public is invited to observe all election processes. For more information, please call the Elections Department at (530) 621-7480.
