Community Action Council

Community Action Agencies were created by the federal government to combat poverty in designated areas. They focus on addressing local needs, assisting individuals and families, and helping community members access opportunities and achieve self-sufficiency.

The El Dorado County Community Action Council includes low-income community members, public officials, and private sector leaders.
