Volunteer with Animal Services

Volunteers are always needed and are very important! Volunteers provide services that mean so much for the animals in our shelter! volunteer.jpg

Animal Services has many jobs for volunteers, such as:

  • Dog Exercising
  • Cat Socializing
  • Adoptions
  • Foster Care (Click here for more information)
  • Lost and Found
  • Grooming
  • Training
  • Special Events
  • Humane Education
  • Office Support
  • Grounds Maintenance

All volunteers are required to complete a Volunteer Application, attend the Volunteer Orientation and be trained, at a minimum, in Basic Dog and Cat Handling before volunteering can begin. Other specific training may be required as identified for specific jobs.
