Defensible Space Ordinance
El Dorado County is in the process of updating its existing Defensible Space Ordinance. The Office of Wildfire Preparedness and Resilience will be returning to the Board of Supervisors on June 18, 2024 to conduct a public hearing and first reading of the proposed changes. Updated versions of the proposed amendment, including changes made following the initial public hearing on December 12, 2023 and subsequent public workshops, are available below.
Written comments for the Board's consideration may be submitted directly to the Clerk of the Board at edc.cob@edcgov.us in advance of the public hearing on June 18th.
