The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office has been awarded the Proposition 64 Health & Safety Grant for the years 2023 to 2028. A portion of these funds are dedicated to establishing the Youth Citizens Academy for at-risk youth in our community. This program aims to offer mentorship, leadership, and career development, while also highlighting the negative effects of youth marijuana use. The goal is to enhance participants' resilience and reduce the impact of harmful influences. Additionally, the program provides valuable information and resources to both participants and their parents.
