Tri-County Technical Advisory Committee

The Tri-County Technical Advisory Committee (Tri-TAC) was created in October 1979 by the Counties of El Dorado, Alpine, and Amador. They wanted to work together to plan along the Highway 88 corridor, especially for the ski resort at Kirkwood. Tri-TAC includes the Planning Director or a chosen person from each of the three counties. In 1985, they added members from the Eldorado National Forest, Toiyabe National Forest, and the Kirkwood Meadows Public Utilities District as non-voting members.

Meetings

The Committee usually meets on the second Friday of each month at the KMPUD Community Services Building on Loop Road, Kirkwood at 10:00 am.
