  • El Dorado County, Federal Highway Administration - Central Federal Lands Highway Division will be performing road work on Ice House Road through Winter 2024/2025. This project is located in District IV. Please see the updated Ice House Road Phase 2 Rehabilitation Project News Release(PDF, 609KB) and Project Map.(PDF, 392KB) 
     
  • El Dorado County Department of Transportation will begin construction of a pedestrian overcrossing along the El Dorado Trail at Missouri Flat Road beginning Monday, August 12. This project is located in District III. Trail closure is anticipated through December 31, 2024. Please see the following News Release(PDF, 878KB) and Location Map(PDF, 142KB) for more information on this project. 

  • El Dorado County, Federal Highway Administration - Central Federal Lands Highway Division will be performing road work on Ice House Road beginning May 2024 and continuing through November 2024.  Please see the following Ice House Road Phase 2 Rehabilitation Project News Release(PDF, 623KB) , Project Schedule(PDF, 395KB) , and Project Map(PDF, 119KB) . 
  • Henningsen Lotus Park 2024 Parking Passes are available December 1, 2023 for $31 and are valid through December 31, 2024. Passes can be purchased the following ways:

    • Parks & Trails Office, 200 Armory Drive, Placerville, CA 95667
    • Henningsen Lotus Park
    • Online Portal
  • El Dorado Trail/SPTC at Latrobe Road is closed due to a washout of the railroad tracks near the Latrobe Bridge and mudslides on the corridor.
