Historical Railroad Park

Located within the Sacramento Placerville Transportation Corridor (SPTC), the Historical Railroad Park is situated along 2.2 miles of the El Dorado Trail in the town of El Dorado. The park features a Dog Park and access to the Class 1 paved portion of the El Dorado Trail. The park also serves as a satellite facility of the El Dorado County Historical Museum. The El Dorado Western Railroad Foundation operates an excursion railroad program on Sundays at the El Dorado Station. The park is open seven days a week from 8 AM to dusk.
