Mines of El Dorado County

The County Museum volunteers have been compiling information, photos, maps, newspaper articles, reports, and anything else relating to mining in El Dorado County. Throughout the year, we have "Mining History Research Day" usually scheduled on a Saturday. Please call to get the latest schedule. Mining History Research Day is an open house research day - no appointment is needed - to ask about the mine that interests you.
