Mental Health Services Act (MHSA)

Proposition 63 (known as the Mental Health Services Act or MHSA)(PDF, 384KB) was passed by California voters in November 2004. The law provided the first opportunity in many years for the State of California to increase funding, personnel and other resources to support county mental health programs and monitor progress toward statewide goals for children, transition age youth, adults, older adults and families. The El Dorado County MHSA Project Team frequently posts information, program planning documents, and meeting announcements on our website. For questions or feedback on plans, please contact the MHSA Project Team at MHSA@edcgov.us.
