The Clerk of the Board provides a range of services to the Public and County staff. The Clerk's office provides administrative and clerical supports for the Board of Supervisors and the Assessment Appeals Board. The Clerk's office also manages the County's Records Center.

The Clerk of the Board employs 5 full-time and 1 part-time staff who assist in the management of meeting schedules and calendars, prepare Board meeting Agendas, distribute staff reports and associated materials to be considered at each meeting and maintain written record of actions taken at each meeting. The Clerk provides legislative support for the Board of Supervisors in the El Dorado County Code. The Clerk also maintains the County Roster of appointed Boards, Commissions and Committees.

Public Comment on Published Agenda Items

If you choose not to observe the Board of Supervisors meeting but wish to make a comment on a specific agenda item, please submit your comment in writing. You are encouraged to submit your commit in writing by 4:00 PM on the Monday before the meeting to ensure the Board of Supervisors has adequate time to review. Please submit your comment to the Clerk of the Board at edc.cob@edcgov.us. Your comment will be placed into the record and forwarded to the Board of Supervisors and appropriate staff.
